Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Bookzyr platform ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
2. Service description
Bookzyr is a software-as-a-service booking and operations platform for hair, beauty, and personal-care businesses. The Service is provided on an "as-is, as-available" basis. We may update, add, or remove features at any time.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or are used for unlawful or abusive activity.
4. Subscription & payments
Paid plans are billed in advance. Fees are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. We may change pricing on 30 days' notice. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in your account settings. Refunds for unused portions of a paid period are at our discretion and described in our Refund Policy.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the data you upload (clients, bookings, photos, etc.). You grant Bookzyr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display that data solely to operate the Service for you. You warrant you have all rights necessary to grant that licence and that your content does not infringe third-party rights or breach any law.
6. Acceptable use
See our Acceptable Use Policy. Breach may result in immediate suspension.
7. Privacy
How we collect, use, and protect personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you agree to those practices.
8. Intellectual property
The Bookzyr platform, brand, code, and documentation are owned by Bookzyr or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law (and subject to non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law), our aggregate liability to you in any twelve-month period is capped at the fees you paid in that period. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including lost profits or revenue.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. We may terminate immediately for breach. On termination we will retain your data for 30 days before permanent deletion; you may request an export at any time during that window.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
